We have a constant need for high quality parts and bikes, not the kind you find in a department store, we want to build a bike that lasts and performs well.
Check this page often to see if you can meet our immediate needs.
Parts needed now:There is a chronic shortage of adaptive bikes for recovering veterans. We always have a need for recumbent bikes, recumbent trikes, and handcycles, so if you realize you actually belong on a conventional bike, we know disabled and recovering veterans who need them.
We are very short of drivetrain and shifiting parts (preferrably a Shimano 105 level of quality or higher, SRAM and Campagnolo too!), road wheelsets, and just about any other quality bicycle parts.
We are also looking for commuter type bikes to support local VA programs for former homeless veterans to use to commute to school and work from halfway house programs.
If the parts you are willing to donate don't match our parts needed, we will gladly accept your donation for a future project. If you will allow us, we will notifiy you when your bike or part is placed with a veteran.
We also accept cash donations. We prefer bike parts, but sometimes for items like bar tape, chains, brake pads, and saddles are best purchased new, and cash helps with that.
